The Best Places I Went in 2016

mount-bromo

I traveled more always in 2016. I hiked up volcanos, climbed glaciers, rappelled through canyons, and went horseback riding through hoodoos. I visited temples in Indonesia and jungles in Costa Rica. Simply which adventures were my favorite? Today I am sharing the best places I went in 2016!

Iceland-58

Iceland. Republic of iceland has get a hot travel destination and information technology is easy to understand why. The people are welcoming and friendly (remember when they celebrated all night after their team lost in the Euro-Cup merely because they were so proud to have fabricated it and then far?) and the landscape is filled with lush green land, mountains, volcanoes, geysirs, waterfalls, and pretty much any natural wonder that yous can imagine. And just to remind you – you can book a stopover in Iceland on your manner to Europe without paying whatever extra airfare when you fly Icelandair.

borobudur

Indonesia. Aye, I went to Bali, but I preferred the more than exotic and less frequently visited areas of Borobudur (pictured in a higher place) and Mount Bromo (pictured at the very top of this postal service). Indonesia has just the right balance of culture, history, amazing nutrient, and seaside resorts for relaxing – add together it to your bucket list if you haven't been.

Kit Graham - Utah - Bryce Canyon - Jetsetter

Utah. Bryce Coulee was stunning, and the state is packed with National Parks and State Parks for exploring. During my fourth dimension in that location I went canyoneering (a mix of rappelling, hiking, and rock climbing), stand paddle boarding, hiking, and horseback riding.

Nashville-39

Nashville. Live music in every bar and the all-time hot fried craven I have ever tasted. Nashville was the ultimate destination for a weekend getaway.

La Fortuna Costa Rica-11

Costa rica. My sis and I yet aren't certain if exploring volcanos and rain forests or if relaxing at the beach was the best part of this adventure. I will admit that staying at a hotel at the bottom of a volcano did brand me slightly nervous.

eating-in-austin-24

Austin. I discovered a deep dearest of brisket tacos, and now I miss them everyday.

Exploring Turku-2

Finland. The green seaside landscape reminded me of Maine. Finland felt like domicile and it felt European and new all at the aforementioned fourth dimension. I loved exploring Turku Castle and the nutrient scene was top notch.

San Francisco-23

San Francisco. The food in San Francisco is infrequent, and I loved exploring the urban center'southward compages, shops, and farmers markets. The side trips to Alcatraz and Sausalito were a nail too.

I have no thought where 2022 will take me, but I would beloved your recommendations!
